Some of the photos from the AJIHL game 2 between the Adelaide Generals and Perth Sharks. Game 1 saw the Generals narrowly edge out the Sharks for the much needed points.  This time however the game would be a lot tighter with the Sharks scoring first and then holding that slender lead until 7:33 remaining in the 3rd period, the Generals scored to tie the game at 1-all.  The score remaining so the game went to overtime.   The Sharks found ways to get around Generals goaltender Matus Trnka so took the 2 points for the game with the Generals getting one point.

The two teams fronted each again after a tight 3-2 game the day before. Both teams would slug it out, neither giving an inch as they tried to forge ahead of their opponents. The end result was no score at the end of the period, but not before some obligatory penalties had been handed out. Early in the period roughing penalties were handing out to Generals Cameron Pope and Sharks Yannic Lodge at 14:28. Shortly after at 13:42 Sharks Ryan Rothwell went for interference. Despite the intensity of the game both teams managed to stay out of penalty trouble until 3:34 remaining Nick Bowe did a late hit giving the Sharks a powerplay, but they were unable to score. Shots on goal were Sharks 13, Generals 11.

The second period saw the intensity ramp up considerably and for this reason the teams managed to stop every onslaught with both goaltenders able to fend of shots the defence hadn’t taken care of. Deep into the period with 3:09 remaining, the Sharks managed to find a way through when Yannic Lodge scored with assists from Benjamin Williams and Ryan Rothwell. Sharks Kalin Nyrich would head to the box for cross checking and Generals Steele had a 10min major and a 2min minor for a hit from behind. Shots on goal were Sharks 15, Generals 12.
