Some photos from the SANFL game between the Sturt Double Blues and Central Districts Bulldogs play on the 22/05/2021 at the Unley Oval.   It was Sturt’s Zane Kirkwood’s last game and Sturt were hoping for an appropriate send off for the dual Magarey medallist.  Both teams were adjacent each other on the SANFL ladder so it should have been a close encounter.  However, Centrals came to spoil the party and controlled a lot of the game and held a 28 point lead going into the last quarter.   Sturt however had one last roll of the dice, and decided to go for broke.  They kicked 7 goals in the quarter including one to Kirkwood, but it wasn’t enough the Centrals to take away the 10 point win and break their drought of not winning at Unley since 2015.
