Photos from the Atoms ice hockey game between the Blue Snipers and Rampaging Reds played at the Ice Arena, Adelaide on 25/08/2019.  The Snipers were still without gun Jack Fode, while the Reds were without Ilya Truuse and Poppy Kelly who were also known goal scorers.  In goals for the reds was Riley Knapp and Callum Shea for the Snipers.  The Reds would try defenceman Jordan Kutsche in offence, to see how the other half lived, but would return to defence later on.  The Snipers would score 3 goals in the opening period to the Reds 1.   Penalties went to Reds Wade Patterson and Callum von Einem(?) for tripping.

The second period was an relatively even affair but the Reds would outscore the Snipers 3 to 2 goals but the Snipers would maintain their dominant lead.  The Reds would have yet another tripping penalty.  The third period was tight with the Snipers adding one more.  Wade Patterson went off with an injured arm but would return later on.  Shots on goal were Snipers 28 for 6, Reds 15 for 4.
