2026 Mallala Super Trucks

The Super Trucks returned to Mallala Motorsport Park located 60kms north of Adelaide, South Australia on the Anzac Day long weekend (24-26/04/2026) as Round 1 of the Australian Super Trucks series. A huge crowd attended the Saturday, including night racing and a large crowed was still on hand on the Sunday conclusion of the weekend with 4 races. Support races included Formula V, Street Stocks and combination Circuit (Hyundai) Excels/Miniature Race Cars, with demonstrations of drift cars and burnout cars. On June Long Weekend the Super Trucks will compete at Shell Motorsport Park (The Bend) at Tailem Bend, South Australia for the first time.

Photos displayed here are from Race 3 and Race 4 of the Super tracks and all support categories between. Race 3 saw the Ox Racing Mack take out the race, but then have to start rear of field in the Super Truck final. Frank Amoroso would lead the field at the start, to eventually be overtaken by Shannon Smith. Unable to carve his way through the field Tye Oxley tried to dive through on the inside coming up to the north east hairpin and only to spear off the track taking out other competitors. Desperate measures for desperate times!

Final results for Round 1 of the Australian Super Trucks Championship

Individual: 1. Dale Cornfoot (BDK Racing), yellow Kenworth – 68 points, 2. Harvey Dale (GLE Racing), dark blue Kenworth – 67 points, 3. Mark Noonan (Fuel Doctor), Scania – 53 points

Light Trucks: 1. Riley Fern (MLC Racing) – 30 points, 2. Dylan Veit (Ox Racing) – 25 points, 3. Mark Schultz (Ox Racing) – 9 points

Teams Drivers: Brett Dalglish (SRZ Racing), purple/green T401 Kenworth – 25 points, tie between Robert O’Connor (Fate Racing), blue W900 Kenworth, Shannon Smith (MLC Racing) blue W90 Kenworth and Lachlan Fern (MLC Racing), white Western Star? – 24 points
