7/02/2026 Elite League Inline Hockey – Central Commodores vs Rolling Rockers 2-5

New schmick jerseys and a new era!  Blackwood now has its own elite level inline hockey competition, hosting some of the best players in South Australia as well as up and coming talent.  With ia few games into the season the Rolling Rockers have been the team to beat so far in the 3 team competition.  They would have the measure of the Central Commodores taken out this one 5-2.  Reggie Mattschoss of the Rockers would score the first goal but the Commodores struck back quickly through Ronan Bilberry.  Darren Corstens of the Rockers would put them one ahead closing in on the halfway mark of the period, but shortly after with just under 1omins left in the period Luke Moore would equalise for the Commodores.  After that it would be the Rockers shifting up a gear and peppering Commodores goaltender Ethan Acres as Cameron Pope scored 2 goals and Reggie Mattschoss scored his second for the game.  Scoresheet shows there were no goals scored in the 2nd half!  Shots on goal had Ethan Acres facing 32 shots, while Rockers goaltender Angus Schuppan faced 19 shots.
