2026 Shannons Speed Series – The Bend Motorsport Park

The Shannons Speed Series was run at the Shell Motorsport Park (also known as The Bend Motorsport Park) at Tailem Bend, South Australia on the weekend of 8-10 May 2026. The series comprises several motorsport series with the GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS being the highlight event. The support categories are: Monochrome GT 4 Australia series, Motorcraft Mustang Cup Australia, Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Australasia and Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge. Friday has practice and qualifying sessions, whereas the Saturday has qualifying in the morning before races start from around midday in all the categories culminating with the hour-long Race 1 of the GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS at the end of the day. Photos presented here are from the Saturday, when it managed to rain at the start of the 1st 3 races, although the rain disappeared during each race only to start again for the next one!
