Cale Dolan, was in the net for the Adrenaline and Noah Giesbrecht for the Mustangs. In the 1st period the Mustangs would run away to a 3-0 lead by the 9:37 mark (Brody Crane, Davide Gaeta x2 being the goal scorers). Mustangs Brody Lindal gave the Adrenaline a chance of striking back receiving a hooking and an interference penalty. Julian Friederich would score off the 1st powerplay, putting the Adrenaline on the board (assists Austin Pickford and Coy Prevost). Shots on goal for the period: Mustangs 15, Adrenaline 12.
The second period saw only one goal scored, that to Mustangs veteran, Joey Hughes (assists Scott Timmins and Brody Crane), but the Mustangs had put a lot of shots on goaltender Cale Dolan, whereas the Adrenaline struggled to put shot on net such was the effectiveness of the Mustangs defence. Three penalties were handed out, Julian Friederich for slashing, and team mate Kolby Johnson for holding, and Mustangs Philippe Caron for holding. Shots on goal for the period: Mustangs 13, Adrenaline 2.
The 3rd period was all one way traffic as the Mustangs put on 3 goals (Dean Klomp, Brody Crane x2) with no reply from the Adrenaline despite putting on more shots on goal. Mustangs Davide Gaeta felled Julian Friederich in the dying seconds of the game as he was heading towards goal but the penalty shot taken by Friederich was saved by Mustangs goaltender Noah Giesbrecht. Shots on goal for the period: Adrenaline 14, Mustangs 9.
