2025 Inline Hockey Australian National Championships – Part 2

Some of the many, many photos (from roughly the 2nd half of games) taken at the 2025 Inline Hockey Australian National Championships held between September 26 and October 5, 2025 at the MyState Bank Arena (Tasmanian JackJumpers Basketball team’s stadium) in Hobart, Tasmania.  Over 800 athletes competing in different divisions ranging from 9 and under, 11 and under, 13 and under, 15 and under, 17 and under, 23 and under, Junior Women, Senior Women, Senior Men, Masters, Veterans to Over 50’s although some players entered into one or more divisions.

Not all states had teams in every division either, and some state players without their own state team were able to fill in on other state’s teams, eg South Australians playing for Tasmanian Junior Women’s team, or Jamie Lunn for New South Wales Senior Women who came away with the MVP medal for that division.

Unfortunately, South Australia didn’t have as successful year as in 2024 (when they returned after many years absent from the championship).  This year, the South Australia 11 and under kids knocked off Victoria to get into the Grand Final but Queensland was too strong in the end.  In the Masters division, South Australia played in the Elimination Final but were ousted by Queensland and that was the end of their campaign.

There was no official Event Photographer at the Championships this year, so the photographers present were primarily photographing their own state players and games.  My photos are intended to showcase the South Australian players, with special emphasis on 15 and under, and 17 and under games that my son competed in.

Results for the championship in each division are at the end of the photos.

Please note, the photos shown below are only handpicked photos from the very large number taken overall, and intended to show at least about 2-3 photos of every South Australian player in each game, plus some interstate players.  All photos shown here, as well as the many others offline, are available for purchase.  Contact me via the website.
