The ampl auto Willunga Hilclimb presented by Ultimate Motorsport Events was run up Old Willunga Hill Road on 14/12/2025 with a field of 130 entrants (some cars being shared between 2 drivers).  Plenty of observation spots existed for the public to watch the large field of cars.  The day starts with a familiarisation run up the hill for all drivers, although you wouldn’t know it with some spirited driving before the real action starts in the first timed run.  The main fight would be between Dan Day (S and J 1000) and Douglas Johnson in their 1000HP Subaru WRX monsters, followed by the experienced Nick Strekeisen in his Nissan GTR R35.  There would be plenty of rivalry between drivers with the field divided into categories based on engine sizes and modifications.  Drivers compete on multiple runs up the hill with fastest run counting for outright honours.

Outright honours went to Dan Day, yet again the master of Willunga Hillclimb (8 time winner?) with an incredible 1min 15secs run, with Douglas Johnson recording a fastest time of 1min 18secs.  Notable winners in other categories were Martin Farkas in arguably one of the best sounded cars on the day (BMW E46 M3 – 1st Outright 2WD, Fastest heat run 2WD, 1st class Rally/Race 4000cc and over), Matt Frith and Anthony Norris.
